The Education committee plans the quarterly education program that is presented on Saturday night at the quarterly meetings. Those Saturday night programs involve a donation request, and they sell our tee shirts for the committee’s funds. Those funds are collected and loaned out to communities or individuals in the organization who need small loans of up to $500 for special projects. We have helped fund composting toilets, chicken tractors, the building of a farm stand to sell produce, and many others over time. They find people to attend other organizations’ conferences to network and put up literature tables to promote the issues that are dear to the heart of the School of Living. They work with the publications committee to keep our literature table relevant and refreshed as need be. They brainstorm ideas on how to promote the organization and attract new members to work with us.
